First, open your web browser and, log on to IRCTC Website, which is www dot IRCTC dot co dot IN, this is the official website of Indian railways., friends, from here, you can book railway tickets, online. Friends, in order to create a new account, first, you have to click, on the, Sign up button, once you click on, the sign up button, a new page opens up on the screen. Here, you can see a new user registration form, this is a very simple form, you got to fill out the complete details, to register on IRCTC Website.
So, lets fill this form, first put in the user name of your account, and then, click on check availability button, to see if your desired user name is available or not. Since our user name is available so we can, proceed with further steps, now you can type in, the password, make sure, your password is strong, and easy to remember, now retype your password , next to the, confirm password box, after setting up your, user name & password, lets move on to further steps, Now, choose any of the, security questions, once you pick your , security question, you can put in the answer, to the question, in the box below, now choose preferred language, we recommend you to let it be to English, Now, put in the first name, middle name, and then last name, than select gender, after that select marital status.
Now put in the date of birth, now select the occupation, now next boxes are to put in your aadhaar card & pan card number, bt this is optional, so you can leave, these boxes and move on with further steps, now put in your email address and mobile number. Now select your nationality, now you can fill out your residential area details. Now fill out the captcha code in the given box, and all done. Now you can click on the , submit registration form button, at the bottom, now you will see a pop up on the screen, click on, I accept the terms and conditions, button.
After that you will see a new page with the message saying, your registration is successful . friends, now you will receive a confirmation email from IRCTC, so now go to your email inbox and click on the IRCTC new account confirmation link to activate your account. Once your account is activated, you can login to the IRCTC website and verify your mobile number and email address. One it’s all done, your IRCTC account will be ready to use.
