MPCST Requires Application for Research Associate, Junior Research Fellow, GIS Assistant/Trainee

MP Council of Science and Technology, Bhopal is preparing a panel of eligible candidates for recruitment of Application for Research Associate, Junior Research Fellow, GIS Assistant & Lab Assistant for its present and future projects. Research Associate (Fellowship Rs. 25,000/- pm fixed):

M.Sc./ M.Tech / M.Sc. Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology / Geo-informatics / Remote Sensing having first class degree with Ph.D. Three years experience in Remote Sensing & GIS based Land Resources / Water Resource. Candidate having additional qualification / experience in the field of digital photogrammetry & working experience on High resolution data for Cadastral mapping will be preferred. The condition of Ph.D. may be relaxed for candidates with five years of relevant experience.

Junior  Research Fellow (Fellowship amount Rs. 18,000/- pm fixed):

M.Sc./ M.Tech / M.Sc. Tech. in Geology / Applied Geology / Geology / Geo-informatics / Remote Sensing with first class (60% marks) having 02 years of experience in the field of Remote Sensing & GIS applications.

Junior  Research Fellow – Physics (Fellowship amount Rs. 18,000/- pm fixed): M. Sc. Physics with First division (60% marks) and two year’s working experience. Familiarity with  instrument handling is desirable.

Junior  Research Fellow – Agriculture (Fellowship amount Rs. 18,000/- pm fixed): M. Sc. (Agriculture) with First division (60% marks)  in the subject Agronomy/ Agrometeorology/ Soil Science/ Agriculture Physics  or M. Tech/ M. Sc. Remote Sensing along with B. Tech Agriculture Engineering and two year’s working experience. Experience in Remote sensing will be preferred.

GIS Assistant (Assistantship amount Rs. 10,000/- pm fixed):

1.        M.Sc./M.Tech in Geo-informatics / Remote Sensing & GIS with first class (60% marks).

2.        B. Sc. First division (60% marks) with the subject combination Physics, Mathematics and Computer Science/ Electronics or Diploma in Electronics with first division (60% marks).

Note:      1. Short listing of candidates for the interview will be done based on the requirement of the project.

                2. The selection will be made purely on merit and only for the duration of the project.

1. The MP Council of Science & Technology, Bhopal is preparing a panel of eligible candidates for present and future requirements in its various projects.
2. Print copy of the submitted application accompanied with attested true copies of certificates/degree of qualifications/ experience/ proof of date of birth/ caste/ domicile/ testimonials along with marks certificates of all examinations, a recent colour passport size photograph and NOC from the employer (if employed) should be submitted at the time of interview. The applicant must bring all the original documents for verification at the time of interview.
3. The interview of the short listed candidates will be held at MP Council of Science and Technology, Vigyan Bhawan, Nehru Nagar, Bhopal 462 003.
4. In order to minimize use of paper, the entire process is being conducted using e-pattern. Aspiring candidates must keep watch on this website as no letter will be issued for interview etc.
5. No further correspondence in this regard will be entertained.
6. Director General, MPCST has all the rights to select or reject any candidate according to the Council’s requirement.
