Examinations Conducted By the Board- CBSE conducts following Exams:

AISSCE - The board conducts final examinations for All India Senior School Certificate Examination (AISSCE) for Class 10 and 12. 

JEE (Mains) - The board also annually conducts IIT-Joint Entrance Exam (JEE) called JEE (Mains) for admission to undergraduate courses in Engineering and Architecture in numerous colleges spread over India. You can apply for  JEE (Mains) after completing Class 12th. So it is a good career option after class 12th.

AIPMT - CBSE also conducts AIPMT (All India Pre Medical Test) for admission to major medical colleges in India. 

NET -   Friends NET means "National Eligibility Test" and this test is basically for to become a lecturer in colleges or Junior Research Fellow (JRF). If you want to make a career in teaching profession (lectureship) and research as a Junior Research Fellow (JRF) than you can apply for NET (National Eligibility Test). 
Friends the minimum eligibility criteria for NET is as under:

• You must be a Post Graduate from any university recognized by UGC with minimum of 55 % marks and 50 % in case of OBC/ SC/ ST/ PWD (Persons with disability) categories.

• If you are appearing at the qualifying Master’s degree (final year) examination then also you are eligible for the exam.

Minimum Age:
Friends the minimum age criteria for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) is 28 years and there is an age relaxation of 5 years in case of Female Candidates, OBC / SC/ ST/ PWD (Persons with disability) categories. However there is no age bar for lecturership.

CTET - Apart from these tests, CBSE also conducts the Central Teachers Eligibility Test and the Class X Optional Proficiency Test.

Teacher Eligibility Test known as TET is an Indian entrance examination for teachers. The test is mandatory for getting teaching jobs in government schools from Class 1 to Class 8. Teachers Eligibility Test is based on Two Papers: 
Paper 1 is meant for teachers opting for Class 1 to Class 5 and 
Paper 2 for Class 6 to Class 8. It is conducted by both Central government and State governments in India.
Eligibility:
All graduates, including B.A, B.Sc, B.Com etc. are eligible to take the test. All B. Ed. graduates need to pass this exam to work as a teacher. A candidate has to score over 60 percent to clear the eligibility test. The exam is divided into Paper 1 and Paper 2. The National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) keeps track of the exam.
