Once upon a time there was a farmer in a village. He had a big form that gets him adequate income. He was very prosperous. He had five sons. All of them were stronger and hard-working. They used to help him in the farming. But there was a problem, his sons does not have the unity. They always used to quarrel with each other. They often fight with each other.
The farmer was not happy with this. The farmer always wanted his sons to stop quarrelling with each other. He always advise them to stay united and live peacefully. But his sons always turn a deaf ear to his advices. The farmer almost tried everything he could but nothing worked.
One day the farmer had an brilliant idea. He took some wood sticks and made a bundle. Now he asked all his sons to try and break this bundle one by one. All his sons tried to break this bundle one by one. They used all their power and strength. But they could not break this bundle either by strength or by skill.
Then the farmer separated the sticks from the bundle and gave a single stick to each of his sons. Now the farmer asked them to break this single stick. His sons broke the sticks quite easily.
The farmer told his sons, “if you stay divided you will be weak like a single stick, but if you stay united like the bundle you will remain a strong”.
